From September 20 to 22, the "2018 Asian education BBS annual conference and Asia Pacific professional education international cooperation summit" hosted by China higher education society, education department of Sichuan province, people's government of Chengdu, BBS Asia, was held in Chengdu. More than 1,500 people from 26 countries and regions, including political leaders, university leaders, experts and scholars, ambassadors in China, international organizations and media representatives, have discussed the education project. Lin Yanfeng, director of the Foreign Exchange Center, attended the conference on behalf of the college and attended the awarding ceremony.
The meeting aims to promote and deepen the exchanges and cooperation between China's vocational colleges and Asia-Pacific countries and central and eastern European countries in the area of vocational education, and explore a new situation of education, science, technology and culture connectivity with countries along the "One Belt And One Road" route.
After the preliminary evaluation and re-evaluation by the selection committee, domestic experts and media, 36 Chinese collages and 14 collages from Asia-Pacific countries have been selected as "2018 Top 50 Asia Pacific Vocational Collages” because of their outstanding contribution in personnel training, service industry enterprises, social economic development and international cooperation and exchanges.
“2018 Top 50 Asia Pacific Vocational Collages " will be a new name card of our college for foreign exchanges and cooperation, which is of practical significance for promoting the regional internationalization process.
